MATERIALS: All chains, clasps, jump rings and extenders are gold plated. Enameled COWRIE SHELL pendants are 12x19mm. All are gold plated with enamel - backs of the shell pendants are shiny gold as shown in the photo with the ruler. See photo that shows the size with a ruler in inches - also see the side view photo to show the thickness of the shell pendants.

**Enamel Cowrie Shell pendants are all unique - they are hand enameled. Some have more coverage of the gold than others.

CARE: Water/moisture and perfume are what cause most tarnishing - so the necklace needs to be stored in a dry place and not worn in the shower. Limiting perfume in the neck area will also prolong the life of the necklace.
