The gold of the star is a different shade of gold than the wire connectors, but with the way light hits the star it is hard to notice.
Beaded rosary chain can kink sometimes - especially during shipping. To ensure that the necklace lies properly, make sure the chain is fully extended with no kinks prior to putting on.
CARE: Water and perfume are what cause most tarnishing - so the necklace needs to be stored in a dry place and not worn in the shower. Limiting perfume in the neck area will also prolong the life of the necklace.
